This is an attempt to record some of my musings about learning and teaching.

Speech Selection and Reader with an iPad

Posted by Allanah King on June 2, 2013

Margot McKeegan asked me for a little rewindable help around using Reader with Safari on an iPad.

I decided to combine two things at once and show how to enable Speech Selection and Safari Reader at the same time.

Thanks Allanah a very handy tool for me to share with the teachers at our school. We are just trailing iPad minis with one student in each of our classes and we have been also using your iPad Google site for ideas and apps, so thanks for the great resources you share with everyone, these are very much appreciated and save a lot of time.
P.S. what screen capture tool did you use with the iPad for this presentation?

    Hi Mel,

I used Reflector to mirror my iPad onto my laptop.

And then screen recording using Quicktime on my laptop to do the screen recording and and voice over all in one take!!

I only mucked it up twice and had to start over so it was reasonably straight forward!

Thanks Allannah. So many tools but so little time to find them all. Thanks for sharing.
